ShopBack Plus Updates September 2026 (Plan Change FAQ)

Why is ShopBack Plus changing?

We're simplifying Plus into a single, flexible monthly plan. This removes the longer commitment of the 6-month and 12-month plans and gives you the freedom to stay month-to-month.

What's happening to the 6-month and 12-month plans?

They're being retired. They're no longer available to purchase, and existing members will move to the monthly plan at their next renewal.

I'm a new user — can I still buy an annual plan?

No. The only Plus plan available now is the flexible monthly plan at $4.99 AUD/month, with no lock-in and cancel anytime.

I'm already on a 6-month or 12-month plan — am I being cut off?

No. Your current plan runs to the full end of the term you've already paid for. Nothing is shortened, and you keep every benefit until then.

When does my plan actually change?

Only at your renewal date. Once your paid term ends, you'll move to the monthly plan instead of renewing into your old tier. We'll email you around 30 days before that date.

How much will the new plan cost?

$4.99 AUD/month on the flexible monthly plan.

Is this a price increase?

It depends on your current plan. On the 12-month plan ($44.99/year, about $3.75/month) the monthly plan is slightly more per month — but there's no annual commitment and you can cancel anytime.

Why am I being moved to monthly instead of renewing my annual plan?

Because the 6-month and 12-month plans are being retired, we won't auto-renew you into your old tier. You'll default to the monthly plan when your current term ends.

Will I lose any of my benefits?

No. Every Plus benefit stays exactly the same. Only the plan structure and renewal pricing change.

What if I don't want the new plan?

That's completely fine. You can cancel anytime before your renewal date with no charge at all.
