(Pre-trip) Install your ShopBack eSIM on Android Devices

Install your eSIM

Do this once before your trip. Installing your eSIM will not use data yet.

Install from the app

1. Go to Account > eSIM
2. Select the eSIM you want to install
3. Tap Install
4. Follow the on-screen steps

Tip: Keep the app open and stay connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data. Installation may take a few minutes.

Install using QR code

Scan the QR code provided and follow the prompts to install manually. Once installed, you’re ready for the next step when you arrive.

Install your eSIM manually

1. Go to Account > eSIM
2. Select the eSIM you want to install
3. Under eSIM details, copy the following:
   • SM-DP+ address
   • Activation code

Android manual installation

1. Open Settings > Network and Internet (or Connections)
2. Select SIMs (or SIM manager)
3. Tap Add eSIM
4. Choose Enter activation code
5. Enter the activation code
6. Tap Add and wait for installation to complete

Having trouble?

• Make sure you’re not using your original SIM data
• Try turning Airplane mode on and off
• If needed, contact support from the app for help
